Arcane Man is a Robot Master from Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, fought at the end of Arcane Man -Chaos Tower- (CERN HQ Remains). He's a mystic science robot created by CERN HQ, with a purpose of researching and collecting data about vanishing particle behavior, not understandable by humans. However, after Dr. Wily reprogrammed him, he goes berserk and becomes even more grim than before, questioning life's meaning. After clearing the Wily Stadium, Arcane Man can be found as an NPC in Tier 13. He also appears as a guide for the Magnet Beam weapon tutorial if the Divine Beam Parallel Weapon is active.
Battle
Arcane Man is a very aggressive boss, who uses swift and unpredictable attacks at random:
- Teleports behind Mega Man and performs either: a close-range, vertical Arcane Slash, or a long-range, horizontal Arcane Slash.
- Teleports behind the Mega Man and tricks him by teleporting once again in front of them and performing either vertical or horizontal slash.
- Spawns a black hole that has a strong pull and blocks projectiles. After a while, he throws it in a rising curve. Occasionally, he can teleport in its place, performing a vertical slash from behind.
