Blue Bomber Man is the boss of the stage Explosives Factory. He is a reprogrammed and slightly upgraded version of Bomb Man. He was captured by an unknown party during a mining operation; he later showed up at the titular factory intent on making a very large fireworks show. He has been slightly upgraded from his baseline, and reprogrammed.
Battle
Blue Bomber Man fights much like Bomb Man. He will hop around his arena in an attempt to get far away from Mega Man and throws Hyper Bombs at him whenever he lands. He throws them in volleys of three at a time, and the bombs explode on contact with the ground. The explosion radius of the Hyper Bomb is very big, making it somewhat harder to avoid. During his higher jumps, he will throw a bomb straight up, which again explodes on contact with the ground. Occasionally he will throw three bombs at once in a spread rather than in a volley. Due to tweaks to his AI, he jumps around slightly more often than the original Bomb Man.
Compared to his baseline version, he takes less damage from the Mega Buster, and is slightly more resistant to the Magnetic Shockwave (taking 5 damage instead of 6), making for a slightly longer battle.
