The Guts Dozer (a.k.a. the Guts Tank) is a Wily Castle boss from Mega Man 2. A giant autonomous tank built by Dr. Wily in Guts Man's image, it is armed with giant treads, strong armor, arcing mouth shots, and a flurry of Neo Metalls stored in its chest. Supposedly, however, it has terrible gas mileage.

The Guts Dozer was first available as a premade boss in the Megamix Engine, and subsequently was available as a devkit boss for every game made with the engine. Its first appearance was in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, but only in the Skull Caverns Arena; outside of a handful of modified variants, it was otherwise unused.

Battle

The Guts Dozer starts the battle off the arena; it will slowly crawl on-screen, then move back and forth near the edges of the screen. If Mega Man is not standing on the Guts Dozer's treads, it will raise its right arm and summon Neo Metalls from its chest. If Mega Man is standing on the treads, it will lower its right arm and fire small projectiles from its mouth.

Most weapons can only damage the Guts Dozer by hitting the glowing spot on its forehead. Even weapons that can damage it on other locations cannot do so by firing at its treads.
