Wood Man is a boss from Mega Man 2. One of Dr. Wily's favourite robots, he is made almost entirely out of hinoki cypresses. This gives him great physical strength and resilience, but renders him extra susceptible to fire.

Wood Man appears in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2 as an NPC in Tier 2, showing his appreciation for Yggdrasil in spite of its low ranking. He also makes a very easy-to-miss cameo in the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero level The Red Woods, where he is hidden inside of a hut right before the level's boss fight.

Wood Man was added as a devkit boss with the release of the Megamix Engine, and as such he is set to appear in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. His boss debut in the MaGMML series was in MaGMML: Episode Zero, where he was one member of the 8-on-1 boss battle from Null and Void known as Mega Man 2 NETA.

Battle

Wood Man will start his pattern by creating a Leaf Shield around him, making him invulnerable to most attacks. He will then toss four leaves upwards, which float down slowly and will damage Mega Man. Wood Man follows this up by throwing his Leaf Shield at Mega Man, then jumping forward, after which his pattern repeats.
