Cursor is a boss from Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. It is a modified Pointan designed to manipulate cyberspace, and as such has several more abilities at its disposal than its template. It appears in the level Cursor Curse, trying to block Mega Man's progress by placing various obstacles in the level, and even trying to delete Mega Man, before finally being fought as the level's boss. It makes a brief reappearance in Reality Core, where it tries to delete Mega Man once again.
It returns in the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero level Cursor Corruption, with an upgraded moveset as it now plagues Zero with its enemy spawning and deleting antics (though the latter merely causes damage). Additionally, it can drag enemies across an area, delete special blocks, and create blocks for Zero to walk on while "phantom" versions of it delete them with explosions.

Cursor starts the battle by moving to the left side of the room. From there, it will slowly float up and down, periodically moving to the opposite side of the room before resuming its pattern. As it moves, it will periodically drop one of the following enemies:
Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero
Cursor attacks with a much more complicated pattern than its original fight, though it retains the same habit of spawning enemies and obstacles. A monitor in the centre of the room telegraphs what attack Cursor is about to use; in order:
- A Moz 6604 - Summons two Moz 6604 enemies from the right side of the screen; one flying low, the other high.
- A spike - Cursor moves from right to left, creating four non-lethal spikes on the ground.
- A Chromer - Cursor creates an invincible Chromer and drags it around as it attacks.
- A Pointan window - Cursor moves from the upper left corner to the upper right, forming a set of windows that slowly drop downwards.
- A bomb - Cursor hovers after Zero and attempts to delete him three times. This attack can destroy the spikes from the second attack if done near them.
- A Cursor Block - Cursor hovers left and right while throwing Cursor Blocks with gravity at Zero.

Trivia
- Cursor may be a reference to the fangame Mega Man Maker, which uses a Pointan (commonly called "Pointkun") as a mouse cursor in the game's level builder. Cursor's CD in MaGMML: Episode Zero even alludes to this role, suggesting that Cursor is in fact the prototype for Pointkun.
