Giant Metall is a midboss from Mega Man 3. It is a gigantic Metall with no legs, moving using two jets on its lower body.
Giant Metall was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. The original devkit version does not appear in the final game, but an altered version of it appears as a midboss in Ruined Lab, where it is also known as Healthy Giant Metool, or simply Giant Metool.
The devkit version of Giant Metall made its long-awaited debut in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, appearing in the entry Forest Castle. By contrast, in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, vanilla Giant Metalls were once again completely unused, outside of being an opponent in the Colosseum of Cohorts Arena.
