Giant Metall is a midboss from Mega Man 3. It is a gigantic Metall with no legs, moving using two jets on its lower body.
Giant Metall was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. The original devkit version does not appear in the final game, but an altered version of it appears as a midboss in Ruined Lab, where it is also known as Healthy Giant Metool, or simply Giant Metool.
The devkit version of Giant Metall made its long-awaited debut in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, appearing in the entry Forest Castle. By contrast, in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, vanilla Giant Metalls were once again completely unused, outside of being an opponent in the Colosseum of Cohorts Arena.
Behavior
Devkit
Giant Metall slowly floats up and down, periodically shooting a spread of three red balls, while also periodically dropping a Metall DX below itself.
Ruined Lab
Giant Metall slowly floats up and down, periodically shooting a spread of five red balls. The red balls usually come out all at once, but they will sometimes come out one at a time, starting from the highest-aimed ball and going downwards. When Giant Metall's health reaches 12, it will begin floating faster and firing at a quicker rate.

Notes
- Up until the release of MaG48HMML, Giant Metall had the dubious distinction of being the only pre-Megamix Engine enemy to not make an appearance in any MaGMML game (if the modified Ruined Lab version is not counted, that is).
