Roll (ロール Rōru) is a kind-hearted humanoid robot created by Dr. Light to be a housekeeper, helping around Dr. Light's Laboratory by cleaning and cooking. She is the "little sister" of Mega Man and Proto Man.

MaGMML Series Appearances
Make a Good Mega Man Level (Remastered)
In the original MaGMML, Roll appears as an NPC in Dr. Light's Lab, where she reminds Mega Man to use his Special Weapons. After the main game is beaten, her dialogue changes to tell the player about the Arena in the attic.
In Remastered, Roll runs the game's costume shop, much like in MaGMML2. In addition to Proto Man, Bass, and custom costume options, she also sells a costume of herself. Considering that dialogue boxes are altered to contain Roll's name, and that Mega Man takes her place as the shopkeeper when her costume is selected, it is less of a costume and more of a character swap. Regardless, she and the other costumes play identically to Mega Man.
