Rush is a major character in the classic Mega Man series. Built by Dr. Light around the time of the events of Mega Man 3, he serves as a companion to Mega Man, being both a pet and a support unit. He has appeared in almost all classic Mega Man games since his debut.
MaGMML Series Appearances
Rush has appeared in every MaGMML game to date. In all but one game, his Rush Coil and Rush Jet forms are available as Special Weapons. His Rush Bike form from Mega Man 8 is also planned to appear in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3.
He also appears as a Costume in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, unlocked by defeating The Moon, Birdo, and Glass Man either in Tier 10 or in the True Arena.
Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero marks the first time in the MaGMML series that Rush is not a companion, or even a major character at all, thanks to the main protagonist being Zero instead of Mega Man. Regardless, Rush still makes a very small cameo in the game's credits, where he is seen running through the festival grounds with Mega Man right behind him.
